This is the fullest bodied and ripest 2007 Willamette PN I’ve had. 14.5% stated alcohol. Just a bit over the top but still enjoyable. — 6 months ago
2016 was smooth and delicious, tasted during a flight at Domaine Serene Oregon — 6 months ago
Gorgeously poignant mineral nose. Lemon, lemon flower. Closed but it’s all there. Direct mineral essence that goes straight up your nose. Yellow flowers, wild mint, melon, green possibly orange. Wow the mint, Really intense and expansive. Palate is so silky and my goodness what a mineral explosion. Round and yet so mineral. Wow. This is mindblowing. So juicy and compact. Amazing, wine of the collection mouthfeel and a finish that just keeps pumping the most intense and mouth caressing minerals. The nose is such a round, mineral bomb. Omg the fruit is coming out. Tangelo, red grapefruit, kumquat. Not a loud wine but a serene, gentle wine that has not one hair out of place. This is becoming the signature wine of the estate. 19/21/22 all perfect or near perfect wines. Wow what a silky texture and just perfect balance. Salty finish. Let’s see what air does. Sensational. As this opens the nose becomes crazy confectionary. The palate is silky, textured, dense and superbly balanced and pure but seems to be closing. But what a finish. — 3 years ago
Killer killer nose. White cherry Nahe love. Apricot, peach, spice, lanolin, vanilla extract. So pretty. So ebullient. Very open aromas. Herbs. Very complex. Very serene. Wonderful peach skin. Palate is massive, complex, tangy, refined and young with massive fruit skin and fruit pith flavors. Amazing purity and balance. Ripe but perfect freshness and minerality offset it. As it airs the minerality becomes more aromatically pungent. Really delicate but now also super mineral and saline. That sweet type of saline. Really long and delineated. Lovely structured finish. Really really long. Terrific. Really top level finesse with air and a terrific crystalline saline structure. Salty and long. Nose gets more pluot. As it airs slightly confectionary. — 5 years ago

Overrated and overpriced Pinot Noir. Good and flavorful but with rough edges. — 3 years ago
Good clean fun 🤩 — 4 years ago
Violet, cloves and all l manner of dark cherry - dried, fresh, even liqueur. Undertone of earthiness that has almost completely mellowed yet present. Elegant, powerful, serene. — 5 years ago
The somm at Spago Las Vegas recommended this to go with poached halibut. Nice choice. Minerally, not oaky. A bit of citrus “surprise”. — a month ago
Ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Fresh red berries on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing fresh cherries, sweet raspberries, light wood, tobacco, black pepper, chocolates, spices, light earth and herbs.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Pinot Noir from Oregon is starting to drink nicely now, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Rich and fruity, smooth and spicy. Nicely balanced and complex, soft and elegant.
I've had a few vintages of this Pinot Noir and it is so much better with age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A good quality wine. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some airtime.
Interesting, easy drinking and a good sipping wine.
Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (55% new) French oak barrels for 16 months.

Really a wonderful cote rotie in a prime drinking window at ~10 years. 13% abv which is appreciated. Very balanced with wonderful length. Great acid. Quite typical Syrah on the nose. Mouth filling with nice deep fruit and some earth. Great pairing with terrine and wild hare at Auberge Bressane in Paris. — 2 years ago

The one and only. One of the best values in all of German wine. Stunning nose. Smells as deep as a GG. Just insane. The aromas of the fruit are so clean and so precise. Just amazing. Peach skin, peach flesh, apricot, nougat, caramel aromas show this is baby Hergott. It’s so precise and so clean but also nuanced and deep. Just a stunning nose. Glorious spice and deep deep minerals. Airy. So so killer. Blind I’d say GG. Wow. I love this wine. So so salty in 2019! U la la! Juicy and so concentrated but elegant and energetic. Sappy peach and apricot fruits on the finish. But also laser like, rapier like minerality. Amazingly pure and deep. So balanced and serene. A zen like experience. Long finish that alternates between fruit, saline and gorgeous mineral. Amazing mouthfeel and purity. Just a stunning Molsheim. Clean finish that just echoes and slowly dissipates. So beautiful.
After some air wow. Herbs on the nose. Hit of honey and the minerals start to waft. Stunning balance and freshness and complex spice and ridiculous fruit on the finish. This is amazing. — 6 years ago
