First of all Kudos to Ant Hill love the wax seal over cork! Deep Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, tea, vanilla and herb tones, well balanced with acidity. Firm fine tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and floral herb character. Very nice! Will age well! — 2 years ago
Clearly that awful picture was taken late into the evening. Aromas that remind you of an ocean breeze. The palate filled with citrus and fruit , so perfectly in balanced. I have no doubt it will continue to age and probably gain greater complexity. This bottle was bought on release and lived in proper storage until it’s demise. — 4 years ago
Quite yellow gold colour , wide light lemon rim. Shows quite a lot of development . Quite toasty with roasted nuts , candied citrus peel , candle wax , ginger , saffron, curry powder, sea breeze. On the palate this is structured and quite full bodied with the nutty character , ginger and candied lemon rind , great intensity and grip , salty , balanced acidity and very long and balanced on the finish . Drinking well now but needs time to open , will probably continue at this high level for another 5-10 years and maybe even improve further — 4 months ago
Nice young yellow canary color. Heavy in the glass. Tropical nose with notes of sea breeze, lemon, kiwi, white stones and tan spice. Glycerol and rich in the mouth. California like, but with nice Chablis nuances. I wonder how this will evolve over next 10 years. Maybe like 92’s? — 3 years ago
Beautiful pale, icy yellow. Nose is like arriving to the coast. Sea breeze with light tropical fruit notes, pineapple and mango. Perfect salinity and lemon zest on the tongue. Absolutely beautiful. — 4 years ago
Apple and sea breeze, nice and fresh. — a year ago
Delicious. Delicate, citrus, subtle brine, delicious with seafood, afternoon in the sun with an ocean breeze. — 2 years ago
Delightful. Just my kind of Chardonnay — 3 years ago
Summer peak and Fino for the wine geek, while I cross my fingers for a sunny streak.
So good, so comforting, so fresh.. like a salty sea breeze that gentle brush your cheeks. Give me two fistfulls of Marcona almonds, plain white bread and a dozen boquerons and I'll be a happy camper.
12th edition of the “en Rama” unfiltered, average five year in the Solera from a year with a “particular healthy flor”.
Fresh as a daisy, intense with a good concentration, yellow bruised apples, lemon zest, chamomille and hay with plenty of iodine, bread dough, salted nuts and chalk that is dancing around. Bone dry palate where the moderate acidity is balanced by a fresh saline structure that keeps the beat and brings nerve through a dimensional mid palate and long chalky finish.

Light straw with green hints . Quite discreet and reserved on the nose , elderflower , camomile, oyster shell , green apple , sea breeze . On the palate this is strict and direct , green apple , chalky mineral and oyster shell notes , very mineral focused . Fills out with a slightly creamy texture . Good length focused and detailed . Very young but enjoyable now , quite Chablis-esque is style . Probably even better in 3-5 years and will last well a further 5 -8 or so — 3 months ago
