Sea Pearl

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Very crisp and refreshing. Higher acidity with good citrus. Great summer wine. — 8 days ago

Domaine Jean-Louis Chave

Hermitage Syrah 1998

One of my favorite vintages from Chave that is open & expressive with red cherry, berry, black fruits, meat, smoke, licorice, earth, crushed rock & violet. — 2 months ago

Sea Smoke

Southing Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2015

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Sea Smoke and for good reason. Well made for sure just too over the top for me now — 4 months ago

Sea Smoke

Ten Estate Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

Not as big of a Pinot as many other Tens have been from other vintages. Still medium full palate but less big fruit, more subtle layers of cherry complimented by an herbal savory character. If you like fruit, drink up. — 23 days ago

Billecart-Salmon

Brut Rosé Champagne Blend

She is red-fruit forward, she has brioche touches and sea salt nuances on the nose. The palate is that sort of balance there isn’t a proper word for but gosh it’s there. Finishes slightly toasty with a zip of lemon and a squeeze of cranberry. — a month ago

Sea Smoke

Ten Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir

So great full to still have my allocation of these amazing Pinots every year for the holidays. Never an off vintage. Cheers — 3 months ago

Sea-Sun Vineyard

Sea Sun California Pinot Noir 2021

Medium and oaky with a surprising burst of bright fruit. Not bad. — 12 days ago

Sea Smoke

Ten California Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2012

I’d say these wines are overrated. Second of the 2012’s I picked up. Dark fruit, supple but not that interesting. — 2 months ago
