Another stunning cab from the cellar of my friend Richard, what a gift. Dark and concentrated, core of sweet black fruit, a bit low acid but silky texture. A very satisfying bottle with our grilled prime New York steaks. Thank you my friend! — 2 months ago
From Joel Peterson, this Contra Costa County Zin is dark and concentrated, packed with dark fruit and very round. For me, it is lacking in acidity so the flavor profile is a bit one dimensional and somewhat flabby. It presents a ton of sweet fruit on the front of the palate which overshadows the wine. Well grown and well made simply not my style. — 4 months ago
Nice wine, very lush and soft, low acid, tons of blue fruit, dense for a “left bank” style, definitely more CA style. Nice with our brunch table — 2 months ago
Wow, what a surprise. This wine has aged beautifully with great acidity and texture. The oak was restrained but the body still rich on the palate. Great with our roasted mushroom pizza. — 2 months ago
it’s a compliment when I say this wine is exactly what it should be. Color and weight just right, subtle aromatics, lots of bright black fruit and a bit of earth, good acidity and clean finish all at a great value. Perfect with our mushroom pizza and arugula salad. — 4 months ago
What a stunner, perfectly cellared and really singing at 20yo, floral nose bright red fruit with great acidity, really complete wine, might have been the best out of an incredible line up. Thanks Artie! — 7 months ago
What a stunner, soft elegant mousse with richness and length on the palate. What a great start to a spectacular meal. — 2 months ago
What a great vintage of McCrea, purchased at the winery and in fantastic shape, lemon custard nose and bright lemon finish on the palate make it a seamless wine, the oak is well integrated and in balance to the body of the wine. This was perfect with our roasted mushroom risotto with lemon zest. Pleasure squared! — 3 months ago
What an absolute joy! A generous gift from an old friend, well cellared and in its prime. I think this is what Heidi was thinking when she made the wine. Perfumed aroma, silky on the palate, lots of spice, great acidity really balanced. Pure joy in the glass. I wish more folks had this experience of beautifully aged Napa Valley Cabernet. Then they wouldn’t drink these gems too young. Thanks Richard! — 4 months ago

What a gorgeous wine, slate and lemon oil on the nose, silky texture, long and complex. Love the semillon forward profile. This is the most interesting white I have tasted in a while. Worth investing in a bottle of this stunner. — a month ago
