Super pretty on the nose and palate. Medium body with a touch of roundness. β 6 years ago
Last evening in Austria. Last evening meal in the restaurant and after a week of tasting mostly GV (and a bit of Riesling and gelber Muskateller) I wanted something different.
There is a minerally quality to that nose with crushed rocks and chalk, tangerine, lime, pear and peach. The palate is round and delicate with peachy and tangerine notes all along, some very soft and delicate mouthfeel, some grip in the rear before a zesty, a tiny bit bitter finish with pear and lime. It's a lesser praised varietal from Austria but every time I taste a different take I find myself liking it. β 3 months ago
One of those hard to find wines that pulls at my heart strings.
A beautiful nose of honeydew melon.
A hefty body with melon, Lope, small hints of ginger and wonderful citrus acidity.
Found what seems like only every 10 years for me, found this and snagged 3.

This is NOT the Auslese. Itβs bone dry. Intensely minerally with almost a feral, animal note in the nose. Unusual for a white. Fairly intense and lively on the palate. Very interesting β 16 hours ago
