Smells of dark cherry and black pepper.
Medium bodied with loads of fresh cracked peppercorns by, sour cherry, alder plank. A great RdD (Ribera del Duero)wine for the price, hints of star anise, some saline, and of course, river stone.
A nice way to celebrate C-19 shot #2.

Dark black red, distinctive depth and full-bodied but enticing spice, leather, dark fruit and mineral. Take the leap, be bold and enjoy this excellent wine, pairing with oysters and chocolate. — 4 days ago
Beautiful enticing aromatics with some dark fruit (more red than black), a bit of kirsch, wet earth, leather, tobacco leaf and a exotic spice box. Evolved yet surprisingly fresh!
Quite light on the palate yet with a lot of character & presence, aetheric and airy yet with power & precision. Brilliant energy & elegance with lively acidity and mellowed, ultra fine tannins.
This is a meditation wine - I could sit with a glass of this the whole evening!
A grand unforgettable wine! — a month ago
Dried red fruit, violet and earthy tobacco aromas. Pallet has a bright red fruit profile with hints of grilled herbs and coffee. Tannins are soft and approachable. Touch of oaky vanilla on the finish. — 2 days ago
I’m not ordinarily a Tempranillo fan, and the ostentatious label was a bit off-putting. Nevertheless, this was a fabulous wine. Drink the 2015 now. It’s at its peak. — 6 days ago
Very enjoyable. Robust flavors without being too heavy. — 2 days ago
Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blueberries, plums, cooked cherries, red currants, oak, tobacco, licorice, earth, cocoa, mocha, coffee, peppercorn, earth, spices and light pencil lead.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked strawberries, earth, chocolates, tobacco, oak, light vanilla, spices, peppercorn and leather.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice surprise. A very enjoyable Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and tangy.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Tannins show up after 90 minutes.
This 7 year old shows nice complexity at this point. Drinking nicely now, and will be even better in the next five years.
I paired it with cheeses and fresh vegetables.
100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months (60% new).
14.5% alcohol by volume.
