Tannat (80%)/Cabernet Franc (20%) blend. Deep purple color. Dark black fruit aromas and flavors. Hints of smoke and oak. Just a bit of a green note but it incorporates beautifully. Nicely structured, as the Tannat was not over extracted. Tannins are present but not overly grippy. Alcohol is also reasonable at 13.5%. This wine has benefited from aging. Just a phenomenal nose. Wow. Perfect, and so deep. 4D cherries. Black, red, perfect cherries. So deep. Endless cherries. High toned and dark at the same time. Totally amazing. Wow. This is genius. Haunting earth and stoniness. This nose is a 10.0. Just insane. Totally mindblowing. The detail and depth is unreal. Best nose of the 2020 Brissets. The nose smells like GC Vosne-Romanee. Such a special site. Juicy and so dense but bright as well. So sweet and fresh. This just has a tiny berry juicy explosiveness. Sappy and pure and such lift. Finishes so mineral. Wow that opulence in the midpalate leads to unreal juicy fruit on the finish that is so bright, energetic and lifted. Stunning length. The detailed black and red cherry fruit that is blended with the perfect level of opulence. Longest of all the 2020 Brisset reds. Wow. A profound wine of total genius. I am floored. The tannins are so fine, so well knit. so velvet. This will be a 10.0 with age. — 4 days ago
As usual this is a preposterous wine and a preposterous value and the best of its kind. The fruit has a lipstick like intensity that boggles the mind. Black cherry, dark red cherries, dusty earth, pulverized rocks and so much more. There is a tiny berry fruit intensity that is a trademark of this wine. Smells like elite village burg. Palate is Uber concentrated with dazzling purity and freshness for days. Black cherry, dark red cherries and so much sapidity. Elegant, complex and so deep. Amazing black raspberry as well. This just keeps pushing on the finish. As this airs the limestone intensity just keeps getting more and more defined on the nose. Superb cut and delineation, with such unreal concentration. Never heavy always elegant and a finish you will not believe for this level. It’s superb in its compactness. Some wood shavings character now on the nose after air. From high school woodshop. Gorgeous fruit. This is just dazzling. A skoche behind the 19 but still the best of its class. Let’s see what air does. — 17 days ago
Le style de la maison est là avec cette minéralité et pierre à fusils, du fruit blanc aussi, intense en bouche mais avec de la finesse, une belle longueur, très très belle réussite. 92-93
Very PYCM in style, gun powder, minerality, salinity, gorgeous white fruit also, intense and with a nice rich texture but the acidity balances it out, very very good. — 3 days ago

Medium gold, explosive aromas of ripe pineapple , lychee, kumquat and green melon. The wine is rich, nearly viscus, and packing serious weight. Long, sweet but balanced, mid-palate. Close to over-the-top in richness, but the flavors carry the day. A long way from Sancerre, but a style and food-friendliness that I have to acknowledge. At times I wasn’t sure, but finished the bottle….. and smiled! — 3 days ago
