Good all around wine. Very balanced notes — 6 years ago
Very Burgundian style...delicious subtle French oak undertones ..if I did not know that is from Oregon, I would have said premier cru Gevrey ...
The perimeter aroma draws you in and does not let you go until you take a sip of this amazing juice! — 7 years ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor David Newman is leading a live-to-picture performance of Leonard Bernstein’s score for “West Side Story”, originally directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, and with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
For live-to-picture productions, the orchestra performs the entire movie score in real time as the film unspools. (Vocals, dialogue and effects are isolated from the original music track.) The BSO installed very fancy and large LED screens on the perimeter of the Shed facing the Lawn, amazing!
Very nice light Salmon color. Nice fruit, 50% Cinsault & 50% Grenache. Very tasty, much better than their still rosé. — 8 years ago

Sparkling strawberry juice! So fun, love this wine. Please see my prior notes. — 8 years ago

Had this for Easter dinner, paired great with ham. Definitely picked up on the apricot and pear and was the perfect level of sweetness with a meal. — 8 years ago
Easy drinking wine with tri-tips and scalloped potatoes. — 7 years ago
First time trying to tackle the world of Geuze. Vinous depth and broad mouthfeel. Tart perimeter and rich core of funky fruit. Season 17/18. — 7 years ago

Very strawberry, intense skin color extraction, very nice, in a year, I hope this is where the '16 is now. See my prior notes please. — 8 years ago
Buttery, candied grapefruit and pineapple, lemon marshmallow, aloe, beeswax candle, juniper berry and pine parchment aromatically. Fluff biscuit head that pontificated amidst perimeter chatter leaving scrawl and stalactites. Creamy with burnt points like baked Alaska. Yammy and browned with sugar before pulling apart to cola, egg cream and bitter chocolate with electric malt shadows. Gum Arabic and pine sap are just the catalysts to this green pinecone and sweet grass turned bitter almond, and oregano oil medicine rinse. Kicks out all the head fog that ails you, and replaces it with resin and tar. Sinus meds. #Lagunitas #hopstoopid #ale #ibu #ibuubme #102ibu4u #LagunitasBrewing #abv #beer #bitter #headmeds — 8 years ago
Purchased at place across from perimeter mall (Alons) — 10 years ago
Light and refreshing. Pairs amazingly well with a summer dinner of pesto covered noodles and a cremini mushroom appetizer.

Loving this bottle, notes are a little different tonight, citrus pith, green apple and cooked grain (oh so faint tho). The show ended and we finished this in the parking lot as we waited for the insane traffic to dissipate. So much better once it warms up. 3hr decant before the show. — 8 years ago

This is the 2013 vintage.
In the glass, the color is a lovely, vibrant yellow. Not insipid in the least!
On the nose, in addition to the normal Citrus and grassy notes, there's a slight buttery character. A little bit odd, since this wine is fermented in stainless steel. Not overpowering, and not bad. Just not what I was expecting.
On the palate, this wine is hugely pineapple! There are a little bit of green or slightly grassy notes around the perimeter, but not deeply rooted. The flavor is bold and riich. The alcohol is faintly present and not overwhelming. This ain't your mama's "Napa Valley mouthwash! I love it! — 8 years ago
Date night out with my bride before she begins a new year of teaching kindergarteners next week. Best Italian BYOB in Fort Worth and it's not even close!
This is now my 3rd Acumen wine, and all have been very good. I first had the Mountain Side Red, then the Cab Franc, and now this "Right Bank" red (69% CF, 29% Merlot, 2% Cab). This has been my favorite of the three. In the glass, it has a ruby red core but it grows to almost black as it gets to the perimeter. Very aromatic, with ripe blackberries, birch wood and white pepper. Smooth entry. Extremely lush fruit as it coats the palate. Medium bodied. I get this violet/purple tart on the finish, alongside a hint of hibiscus and cola. @Henrik Poulsen , this was fantastic! — 9 years ago

Vino Joe
Pleasant at first pour but underpowered. Needed 45 minutes and decant to start. Improved over time. Darker red than I was expecting. Young wine and quite smooth. Some racy notes at the perimeter but more of an easy drinking succulent Nebbiolo than a brooding one. — 2 years ago
