Even better a year+ later. Nose still reminds me of chenin blanc but palate is more complex. It’s tropical, salinity, just ripe stone fruit, herbs, and enough citrus to cook fish. Amazing and a huge favorite at Christmas Eve dinner because it cut through the rich food in a really nice way. 2014, 2018 disgorged. — 24 days ago
From back when I could afford Paul Hobbs (well, I can still manage the Napa bottlings, just not the To-Kalon anymore!). This one was excellent through and through. Probably has several years of life left, but my sense is that it’s definitely on the downslope. — 7 days ago
Very well made, super fine bubbles, elegant, berries that aren’t overly sweet. — 17 days ago
No doubt. No hesitation. The best. Sensual wine. A raspberry, leather, chocolate. It's mild but the finish is spicy and long. I love it. — 13 days ago
No idea where this wine came from or how long I’ve had it. Dry broken cork, dark purple color, cloudy, chewy, lots of suspended gunk particulants. But lots of dark cherry berry and totally resolved tannins. And the 14.8 alcohol seems like a misprint. A long way from Burgundy, but delicious nonetheless. — 19 days ago

I’ve posted this before, but this is just a terrific wine from Paul Lato. Highly recommended if you’d like an incredibly well-made, crisp, bright malvasia with a Central Coast fare to it. Awesome. — 16 hours ago
