If you like your rose a little more serious and a less sweet, then you’ll love this. The nose is of red berries but the flavors in the mouth are not sweet, a nice toast lifted by a balanced amount of acid. Definitely would pair well with spicy or rich food. TBL — 9 days ago
It’s time to get my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a nice one from Napa Valley.
Dark purple in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of black plums, black currants, coffee, oak, cedar, leather, tobacco, vanilla, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, peppercorn and pencil lead.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, tobacco leaf, espresso, cola, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This Napa Cabernet is very enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Spicy and rich.
Needs a couple of hours to open up and show the tannins, but tasty right out of the bottle.
Robert Parker 91 points. Wine Enthusiasts 87 Points.
This 5 year old is drinking very nicely now and will get better in the next 5 years.
I sipped on it all by itself. Delicious.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Enjoying this while picking out Rainbow play systems swing sets. And my wife says my wine is expensive...
So good. Well balanced, great fruit, great nose. This is my second bottle. First was 6 months ago. Wish I’d have taken better notes both times!

consistent favorite. reasonably priced high quality chablis. great structure, highly acidic, mineral, slate, lemon, some white flowers, and maybe a touch of melon or honeydue. and a really nice medium + finish. i love this one and keep coming back to it. drinks better for me solo than with food. — 14 days ago
