Ruby color, medium plus acidity, high tannin. On the nose dark cherry and gamey notes. Taste of tart cherry, cranberry. Needs at least 60 min decant. — 4 months ago
Very nice dry white, full body, some complexity, great with seafood. — 5 months ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 6 months ago
Mature Dry fruit forward. Plenty of deep structure & tannin backbone… but soft on the nose & finish. Long, mature finish. A lovely wine ready to drink right now. Don’t wait… — a month ago
Lovely wine with the right oxidation and airtime.
Came out red brick in color
Nice fruit still showing. Good tannin — 3 months ago
Medium ruby , medium wide garnet rim . Quite open and exuberante , lots of sweet red cherry, raspberry and touch of menthol and sweet spices, hickory . Quite sweet profile. On the palate this has nice spice and menthol hints , sweet red cherry fruit , ripe tannins , but with good grip, quite gritty with good length . Balanced acidity , touch of alcohol noticeable . Overall quite sweetly red fruit focussed , pure and expressive. This is showing quite well , though still young and fruit focused. Probably better in 3-5 years and will continue to show well over the next 10 years or so . — 4 months ago
Had high hopes as this wine/vintage was an absolute stunner 7-8 years ago when I last had a bottle but this one was a bit shagged (as my newly minted MW friend likes to say). Hoping it’s just this bottle, but maybe it’s peak has long past. Slightly maderized and very little fruit left. Thin. — 5 months ago
Still too hot, but manageable. — 6 months ago

Give my best to David2016: at 10yrs, a rich expression of Barolo. The nose is refined with rich red fruit, camphor, and of course rose petal. Dense for a barolo on the palate but remains well delineated. Drinking well now! — 4 months ago

This is a powerful, full bodied wine with an intensely complex, savory flavor profile. Eucalyptus, pine, sage, cloves, and allspice are all present with some slight hints of leather, smoke, and bitter cocoa in the background. The fruit veers more towards dark fruit and dried fruit, with black currants, dark cherry, prunes, and dried figs coming through, but to me this wine is more about the non-fruit flavors. Over time the tannins become more noticeable and provide grip along with a dry finish, but the high acidity and saturated flavor profile help balance out the tannins. I loved this wine. Such interesting flavors and paired beautifully with both rack of lamb and dry aged ribeye. — 10 days ago
