Ripe fruit, earthy, with plenty of soft tannins make this a truly enjoyable wine. Accompanied by braised rabbit ravioli and grilled lamb... very Toscana! — a month ago
WOW! Just Wow!
Cedar, eucalyptus, spice on the nose at opening with plenty of tannin. Once open for 30 minutes notes of leather, spice box, cedar & dark cherry emerge to explode on the palate. This is the epitome of Bordeaux.. it should be a first growth. This is a huge wine at its peak with little oxidation. I will try my final bottle in 6-7 years. Clearly this could be a 40-year+ wine in optimum storage conditions. — 2 months ago
Floral nose, Earthy dark cherry laden on the palate. Tannins still forward, but recede after 20 minutes in the decanter.
This is a great house wine... affordable and accessible early in its life! — 4 months ago
This wine has matured beautifully. On the palate there is dark cherry, some light prune leaning toward raisin & just a hint of chocolate. Tannins are still apparent but dissipate quickly. It is fully mature and a delightful wine. Drink now. — 2 months ago
Soft cherry on the palate with earthiness of the soil. I love the wines of Laura Bianchi. Peaking and ready to drink now or for a couple more years. — 3 months ago
This is a young, deeply layered wine that is just now beginning to show rich fruit through still pronounced tannins. The initial nose was viney, green & tannic. After an hour open, the luscious fruit started to emerge with a touch of cedar and earthy notes. This is a big wine. I will try again in 5 years. — 4 months ago
A classic Lynch Bages at its peak, ready to drink. Cedar, old leather, light eucalyptus on the nose at the outset... surprising alcohol/ tannin forward upon opening... but that gives way shortly to emerging ripe dark cherry, leather, just a bit of spice and cedar notes. Open an hour, the palate becomes even softer and more integrated... the wine never fades. Loved it. A beautiful Bordeaux. — 2 months ago
Beautiful wine with soft fruit forward and subtle spice and a long finish.

Enjoyed with porcini risotto. Ready to drink now. — 4 months ago
Deep red, inky Cab with ripe cherry, mint, cedar, glycerine notes. Rich tannins that soften after 20 minutes in the decanter bringing the rich fruit forward. Full on the palate, yet soft and long finish. This gem is ready to drink ... but maybe is evolves to a bit more softness in a year? I am saving one to find out! — 5 months ago
