Deep garnet, full bodied offering with currant & plummy fruit on the nose. Decanted for 40 minutes revealing riper fruit forward with currants and dissipating tannins on the palate. Full bodied, dense, deep ruby Bordeaux. On the nose: dark mulberry fruit,cedar, & a touch of eucalyptus/camphor. On the palate: dark fruit, cedar and light tannins. After 40 minutes decanted the tannins recede and the soft fruit is delicious. This wine is fully mature and a terrific offering from Medoc.
