Pessac-Léognan Blanc White Bordeaux Blend 2022

2022 vintage. The website didn't update for the 2022 vintage yet, but according to Jeff Leve (the Wine Cellar Insider often has more recent info than the official websites), it is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. In any case, it is a beauty. Pineapple and white peach go hand in hand with floral and mineral aromas. It has a very round mouthfeel, but very fresh at the same time. Probably the finest value in Pessac-Léognan white Cru Classés these days. — 5 days ago

A little ox from the age but gave it a nice richness for this entry-level wine. Abv 13.5% — 21 days ago

Meursault Chardonnay 2020

Quite nice with some matchstick/flint reduction, slightly tropical fruit but also some minerality, and decent acidity. — a month ago

Rosa del Rosa Coste della Sesia Nebbiolo Rosé 2023

Good rose, mostly savory and herbal, some salty. Maybe a little fruit, but feels mostly savory to me, nose maybe with some violet. — 3 months ago

Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay 2021

2021 vintage. Popped and tasted after 30 mins and at 58-60 degrees. Silken with creamy entrails. Not too shabby for a village bar fight. Could drink this a few times a week if demanded. 7.19.24. — 6 months ago
