This is an interesting, funky (in a good way) white blend. It’s a flavor train I like to be on. Good acidity to boot. 🚂 — 7 years ago
A lot of depth, not too sweet and organic to boot. — 8 years ago
Last bottle cork fell apart had to filter into the decanter. These 97' are truly a pleasure. Caramel light purple rim, can smell a faint aged wine with that leads into mature dark fruits. Low Alcohol with black muddy blackberries being the overall tone. Taste... wow! So nice clean, all the way through the pallet with that mild acidity. Definitely drink now as you can get a sense of the fading fruits. But overall this is a superb drink — 9 years ago

Typisk köttröding. Ändå lite besviken att vinet inte kändes särskilt annorlunda trots att det var snudd på 20 år gammalt. @ Boot, gbg — a year ago
Nice evolution and well integrated. 92 that pushes 93.
The other wine from the great Napa producer, Philip Togni.
The mouthfeel is supple, round, soft, yet meaty and tarry tannins. Ripe, juicy, rich; blackberries, baked plum for days, dark cherries, black raspberries, hues of raspberries & boysenberries. Black licorice, berry cola, muddy, volcanic clay, herbaceous notes, soft baking spices, slightly, melted chocolate, dark spice with a touch of heat, coffee, dry crushed, rocks, dry stem, dry tobacco, new leather, oak to cedar shavings, volcanic ash, dark, slightly withering, red, blue flowers framed in a field of endless violets, rainfall acidity, great balance, nice tension/structure and a smartly polished finish that last a full minute.
If you own, I would drink over the next 3-4 years before it starts to slide.

Nice smooth black cherry front. Sneaky blueberry sliding in underneath. Light leather but not the boot. More like the bridle. Very nice mid- pallet with a flower touch. Dark in color but light in mouthfeel. Would be a Desert winner but dry enough to be a single sipper. Nice! Great with chocolate! — 3 years ago

Pours a dark, muddy maroon into the glass. The nose is dark fruit with some mushroom and funk. The entry of this wine shows more of a tobacco and fig side. A little bit sweet with almost a noticeable tannin taking hold right at the start. This one was definitely locked up but only took about 30 minutes of time to show a very intricate front. The middle of this wine is black cherry cordial, very intricate, very dark. Finished smooth, but with a sharper sweet youthful oak. Good way to start the birthday weekend. — 8 years ago

My second rare English Pinot and first that's commercially available (in England anyway). Old world style for sure and it's delicious..perfect accompaniment for UK game season — 9 years ago
Excellent Beauj I picked up at an independent store on Dixie Hwy…recognized Thevenet from an earlier rating….classic muddy fruity Beauj that will be really awesome in ~5yrs, but drinking well now — 2 years ago
Excellent, and natural to boot. — 3 years ago
Opened by mistake (wrong occassion), but no regrets! Drink them if you got them! Pretty good stuff to boot! — 4 years ago
Wonderful spice, great long body, very jammie!! — 6 years ago
Haug Vineyard. Great taste. Aged better than the ‘16s. — 7 years ago
Muddy earthy, black olive black raspberry. — 8 years ago
Love! Honeyed, mandarin peel, potpourri. Broad, rich palate, but bone dry with refreshing pithy bitterness. Such a treat to drink Muscat with age, and an excellent value to boot. — 9 years ago

2021. Courtesy of @Pinotman /// Andreas. Disturbed, lake bottom brown color. Slightly muddy and tart nose. Medium body. Not my cup of tea but there is an immaculate, front palate flavor moment of perfectly aged red Burg/Pinot Noir of, say, 15-18 years. Everything else is held in check during that time. That safe harbor in the storm is my take away. 4.1.26. — 3 months ago
