Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023

Very pretty Oregon Pinot, loads of strawberry on the nose as well as violet & whipped cream, lush on the palate without being an overbearing fruit bomb. Present, somewhat grippy tannins and a touch of acidity, feels like a bigger, bolder Pinot but doesn't buckle under its own weight — a month ago

Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

2020 vintage. Via Coravin. Three glasses just to confirm the quality of said experience. Not nearly as structured and deep as the 2018 or 2019 but still very very nice. At $45 a glass, did not feel cheated. — 8 days ago

Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Hall, Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

This Mount Veeder Cabernet delivers impressive consistency, with ripe plum and blackberry flavors that open the wine and carry seamlessly through the mid-palate. The concentration and depth are excellent—a direct result of the small grapes produced in Mount Veeder’s challenging terrain.

What stands out is the wine’s wide structure balanced by soft, approachable tannins. It’s substantial without being heavy, offering both immediate pleasure and the framework to age gracefully.

Definitely a special occasion recommend!

Mount Richmond Yamhill - Carlton Pinot Noir 2016

Nice wine. Last had 2 years ago and probably should have let this one go a bit further but so it goes. Decanted for 2 hours which was the right call. Quite a bit of structure with some nice red fruit mixed with soy and earth. Long finish, with medium minus tannins and good acid. Would be one to try in 5-10 years. — 19 days ago

Estate Grown Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Inky in color with a reddish rim.

Pretty nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, licorice and cola.

Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, black plums, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, chocolates, peppercorn and tobacco.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley.

Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward, rich and smooth.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with a big piece of steak.

A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Zinfandel, 7.5% Petit Verdot and 7.5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (33% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

93 points.
