Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Hall, Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

This Mount Veeder Cabernet delivers impressive consistency, with ripe plum and blackberry flavors that open the wine and carry seamlessly through the mid-palate. The concentration and depth are excellent—a direct result of the small grapes produced in Mount Veeder’s challenging terrain.

What stands out is the wine’s wide structure balanced by soft, approachable tannins. It’s substantial without being heavy, offering both immediate pleasure and the framework to age gracefully.

Definitely a special occasion recommend!

Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2019

Fantastic. Fresh red fruit aromas rise readily from the wine to be followed with an explosion in flavor. Fresh red berries and raspberries lifted by an earthy minerality slowly disappearing in a lingering finish. — 7 days ago

Wowww. Just opening the bottle and pouring it into a glass, the aroma filled the air. So potent, so fresh. And then just the first sip not only confirmed that it added mineral earth, vibrant notes of red fruit — red berries that reminded me of my youth eating them straight from the bush back at our farm. Lingering, sooting finish. Just amazing.

Really a fantastic wine. What a treat! Bought two bottles several years ago. Pulled the first one 4 years ago and it was corked! Was too scared to open the other until tonight - thankfully, this bottle is drinking beautifully. Lots of dark fruit, seamless palate, refreshing acid/menthol note on the finish. 12%! Paired with excellent dry aged strip steak from the good folks at Hudson and Charles. — 20 days ago

Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023

Ruby red, very good clarity. Strawberry aroma, strawberry and raspberry flavors, light skin astringency and a bit of seed bitterness on finish. Slightly tart. After 30 minutes, the lactic character comes out in the finish. — a month ago
