Cristom

Mt. Jefferson Cuvée Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2023

Ruby red, very good clarity. Strawberry aroma, strawberry and raspberry flavors, light skin astringency and a bit of seed bitterness on finish. Slightly tart. After 30 minutes, the lactic character comes out in the finish. — 2 months ago

Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Drinking really nice right now. Dark fruit with a brightness to it. The baby fat is gone and its maturity is starting to show. It rides the line between modern and old school Napa effortlessly. — 11 days ago

Anthem Cellars

Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

The wine is in beautiful condition at 10 years - still bright deep Ruby with explosive blackberry, black cherry, violet, cedar, clove and vanilla. It’s beginning to show tertiary notes of forest floor, tobacco leaf, and cigar box. It still has several years of life ahead but is captivating now. Long finish with plush ripe tannins. — 16 days ago

Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2019

Fantastic. Fresh red fruit aromas rise readily from the wine to be followed with an explosion in flavor. Fresh red berries and raspberries lifted by an earthy minerality slowly disappearing in a lingering finish. — a month ago

Wowww. Just opening the bottle and pouring it into a glass, the aroma filled the air. So potent, so fresh. And then just the first sip not only confirmed that it added mineral earth, vibrant notes of red fruit — red berries that reminded me of my youth eating them straight from the bush back at our farm. Lingering, sooting finish. Just amazing.
