Amber expectation unravel to express whipped cream on pumpkin pie! Heavy on the cream! Flaky crust seems imminent. This motif swings full circle on the palate-pirouette to suggest the same with clove and nutmeg in tow. Beer aspect has turned treacle-sarsaparilla but genuine and tasty-toasted, so, let it go! Haters hate Christmas ales too and summer and seasonal but love their Willy wonky candy beers. Grow some. The style is good, screaming autumn from the hollow skull of Halloween. Don’t be scared!

Experimental HBC-586 IPA

Slightly less than translucent lemon jello body with a shocking white top that reduces to moonscape petri. Lacing of popped bubble letters, ropy driftwood and boomerangs, rests injured under a stretched gauze and morel motif. Super lemon zest and candied embodiments. Torch-fired aluminum mineral manifestations, Salinity-piths abound, featuring lime, grapefruit, kumquat and mellow notes of sweet yellow micro tomatoes, miracle fruit lemongrass-steel.

Lightmotif Roussanne Blend 2014

Sine Qua Non "Light Motif" white blend with a little light motif accompaniment. That kaleidoscope of colors is a visual representation of the palate-pleasing ambience offered up by this wine. 24 carat golden hues, giving up some marzipan, lemon rind and yeasty notes on the nose. Tropical notes on the palate with a rather buttery, toasty finish of great length. One caveat, and one personal opinion: this wine needs AIR. 4-5 hours in a decanter is a minimum. And my opinion is that this wine won't really start to strut its stuff for a few years. A little cellar time will polish the legacy. — 7 years ago

This is just a regular IPA I think. Cool label. Bears and boat oars in dark color motif. Very nice color. Flavors are pretty floral and classic. Smooth too. Not an extreme ipa. Just a nice drinking English styled beer. — a year ago

Nelson Sauvin Brut Belgian Wild Ale

French bubbling onion broth, with fungal asymmetry the partnering haberdasher’s cheese motif, and pictographs and hieroglyphic bubble letters the font-lacing. Caramel-orange and yeast with hibiscus and dried lotus slices. There is a peppermint coolness to the backnote and a clean, bok choy sweetness. Red amber glow inside mahogany. Off-white balsa crown of finest bubbles. Active, glistening, living bubbles shimmer-lacing. Planktonesque mesa-motif replete with angular minutiae bordering crystal frost. Cherry notes, hot dog bun, stony dust suggestions, Spanish moss on elm for the nostrils. Expectedly active mouthfeel shows less cherry, cola, cinnamon stick, dark flaky croissant, pepper, savory, and the slightest sarsaparilla and nutmeg if you can imagine a smooth assimilation of all of them, without any awkward protrusions, which means the loudest spices are all in check.

Black cherry and violets commingle with red cherry lavender and raspberry in a clean, and enticing nose of fruit and flower. Blueberry, blackberry and cassis are extras, but this is not the fruit bomb the description conjures. There is something light, sunny and natural about the whole; wisps of sweet tobacco and vanilla blossom undulate on a forest and mushroom motif that feels springy, panoramic and breezy. The palate boasts dried cranberries, tangy raspberry and plump black cherry. Thyme a cinnamon dusting and the aforementioned tobacco, now a fine, smoky cigar. This one is gorgeous, and a testament to the estate. Ripe and juicy, but the oak is in check. Bravo! .

2012 vintage. Lots of blue fruit in the nose. Light/medium body. Seamless throughout the palate. Slightly dusty/peppery on the finish but an enduring "too much beauty" motif. Too pretty/pageant contestant to accurately rate. Drinking very very nicely now tho. — 6 years ago
