Holy Moses this is the stuff. All kinds of citrus and green walnut notes and whopping mineral assortment on the nose and in the mouth. Intense body and richness layered on electric beams of acid. Lots of dry extract. Whisper of sweetness on the finish. Finish just won’t let up, hangs in your mouth like lemon taffy. This wine is on fire right now; it’s like a world class orchestra that’s just tuned up. — 5 years ago

Patz and Hall Wine Company founded in 1988 by Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz, with a mission of producing hand-crafted wines. Dark Ruby with complex aromas of black and red fruits with herb and floral scents. From Dijon clones, on the palate sweet cherry and strawberry with cacao, earthy spice and notes of smoke. Aged on French Oak, this wine was well balanced, savory, round tannins, lingering nicely ending with some earthy mineral tones. Has room to age. Excellent!! Tasting Sample! — 9 years ago

Nice. No premox but the nose is a bit muddled. Definitely one to drink quite warm. Unctuous and without the bracing vein of acidity that I’d like but deep and flavorful with lots of damp straw, etc. excellent with a bloomy Moses sleeper cheese. — 8 years ago
P&H was founded in 1988 by industry professionals Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz. This is my second try of the 2015, just wonderful! Aromas of fresh ripe stone fruits and flinty and floral notes. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of apple, pear and sweet pineapple with savory toasty oak tones. Lingering finish ends with tangy citrus and smoky mineral notes. Outstanding. — 9 years ago
Moses Sleeper on the nose. Elegant oak. Tart apple. Great acid on finish. — 9 years ago
Holy Moses have mercy, cocentrated, near opulent fruit of yellow apples, mango, honey, beeswax with a fistful of roasted hazelnuts and a back beat of wet stones.
Dry palate but with a viscous and almost redundant moutfeel that is balanced and kept in check by a high acidity and a wet stone minerality through a long finish.

Holy sweet mother of Moses. The 2016 Royal City is a truly spectacular wine. Full speed on all cylinders with a broad and evolving complexity with new features found in every crook and corner.
Dark concentrated, ripe but fresh fruit profile, cassis, blackberries, blueberries, plenty of lavender followed by meat, iron and a very integrated oak spice and a pronounced crushed stone minerility that gives further dimension to the nose. There is of course a bit of resistance on the palate with its pronounced tannins, but it manage to shake it with its intense concentration on the palate with an expansive mid palate and bottomless finish. Outstanding.
Please give me a napkin and a bloody steak, sorry vegetarians but you could always pair it with a bearnaise only, accompanied by a large spoon.

P&H was founded in 1988 by industry professionals Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz. Aromas of fresh ripe stone fruits, honey, nutty and floral notes. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of apple, pear and sweet pineapple with savory toasty oak tones. Lingering finish ends with creamy fruit and oaky mineral notes. A bit rounder than previous vintages. Wonderful. — 7 years ago
16.5/20 (90/100) Сладкий аромат с нотами спелого яблока, желтой сливы, ананаса, молочных сливок и сдобной булки. Насыщенно-фруктовое во вкусе. Отлично! — 8 years ago
This was my pick of the bunch from today’s tasting.

Both me and the girl enter our 40th year in 2018, so we are celebrating a couple of days early with the oldest champagne we've ever had. Special is an understatement. Tastes like I'm butt naked, face down in a seafood tower on the top of the Empire State Building, waiting on a helicopter to come take us to Waffle House to sober up before we get in a Ferrari to see a 35mm print of E.T. Endless thanks to @Christian Moses for this bottle. Will remember it for a long time to come. ❤🥂 Happy New Years Friends — 8 years ago
