I’d plough this Blau. Such a great kick from this grape. I like the tension, the tannin. The “Pinot Noir of the East”, I’ll let debate draw out elsewhere. But lay a sausage on a plate in front of me with a bottle of Blau and that is a fine eastern pairing. — 4 years ago
Domestic Blau! Yes. Dry fun. That’s perfect for a 65 degree winter day in Napa. — 4 years ago
What’s it gonna take to get @delectablewine to update their AVA listings. I am losing faith. On a side note, this Zin is excellent. Spicy, tense Zin. — 4 years ago
It can’t all be wine. That’s closer to something other than a Pilsner. But I’ll drank it. — 4 years ago
Domestic Sankt! Local Sankt at that. Nice tension. I’d totally drink that without raising an eyebrow. I’m gonna ride my bike near that vineyard this morning. — 4 years ago
Why is it that the last glass / last sip is the best? Damn! — 4 years ago
That’s the best nitro out of a can I’ve ever had. I didn’t give it a 10 cause I probably can’t get it in CA. — 4 years ago
European Blau! Slamin’ it down on the bar like a domino. I like my Blau with a little umph. — 4 years ago
Oh yeah. Forgot to load this one. Monday recovery night at Ad Hoc. Buttermilk fried chicken, broth bowl of mussels, clams, shrimp, and claws, finished off with pork belly. — 4 years ago

Haven’t posted in years, but was doing some cellar work with Freund and this was supposed to an open to get rid of it bottle. Nope. It’s just that hammer. It’s going to keep on getting better and better as the night goes on, and I don’t think that is the dessert talking. Surprise, you didn’t know I was awesome until I hit the glass. — 9 months ago
