crazy perfumed nose, vanilla extract, spice, so much spice, so much non fruit aromas, amazing mousse and bubble, so long and so concentrated, finish is endless, timeless, no hard edges. 9.9. so sappy and concentrated and so much energy, so much toastiness, the finish is really what it’s all about. Wow this is so long.

Been a minute since i’ve had this and my oh my this is basically Krug but from a small grower. What a nose. Bready, brioche, minerals galore, slight old library wood and so much more. A wine whose aromas keeps changing and changing. So clean and mesmerizing. The palate is sap city and just clings to your palate like nothing else. So juicy and elegant. This just slides down your palate and has laser like focus and delineation. So elegant and a super fine mousse and so dry on the backend but juicy and engaging. The finish never lets on and never gives up. Outrageous complexity. So nimble and fine. This is as delicate a Champagne as I have had. I’ll be back as it opens. Outrageous structure and purity. The brioche and breadiness extends on the palate. This is a masterpiece.

Disgorged May 2020. Nose is sourdough / grapefruit. Palate is lush AF. Citrus, lemon/lime, cushy mousse, luxurious, mineral, intense, long finish. Gorgeous.

A spectacular Friday evening bottle to start our weekend. Please see prior notes. The last of my July 2017 disgorgement bottles, newer stuff is resting in the cellar.

Wow. What a monster. Dense. Deep. Caramel. Long rich finish. Still juicy though. Bought from Fass selections. Wow. ... This is amazing as it opens. The nose is fresh caramel if that makes sense. It has that density but is still light and yeasty. Really bright on the finish. The finish is a ten. October 2016 disgorgement.

So if you like the salonnish style of champagne this stuff is the bees knees. Nose is just pure decadent richness. Some good sherry notes. Palate is just rich as hell. Juicy at the same time. Wow. A knockout. When you swallow it it's one of those wines that you just say "holy crap that is good and just utterly delicious." One of the best wines I've had in the past 12 months. A crazy value at this price. Bought from Fass selections.
