I had during a little bossanova jazz concert that truly blew me away, specifically more for the location than for the music.
We were in a very cosy backyard.
The wine definitely kept me warm cause it was freeezing🥶
Top of my head it was juicy, round and very friendly. LoFi wine.
I would buy another bottle..it wasn't expensive.
I actually bought it 8n the middle of nowhere in Northern Rivers, Burringar🙄 — 10 months ago
Aged to perfection. Last glass drinking well after being open nearly a week! — 4 months ago
14 year old #mataro aged at a famous steakhouse. Substantial acidity up front, blackberry pie, warming spices and just an undertone of fig fruit from the time in bottle. Tannins must have been fierce upon release but now they are firm and well-integrated. Delicious. — 6 months ago
2019 Ridge Lytton Springs is a classic California field blend. It is made up of 73% Zinfandel, 16% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, and 2% Mataro. The vineyard is located in Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. Dark red fruit on the nose with a bit of spice. Brambly intense fruit on the palate. Supple tannins. Really nice acidity and a lengthy finish. Drinks well now and will likely be even better in a few years. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2023 San Benito County pours a deep ruby/purple with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of blackberries, black plum, black pepper, purple flowers, licorice, gravelly earth and a mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Delicious stuff and a perennial favorite of mine. Drink now through 2043. — 3 months ago
