Blend of 96% Sauv Blanc with 4% Sauv Gris adding an interesting dynamic to the wine & distinctive aromas (prior to ‘18 vintage some Semillon added). Pale lemon color, citrus, tropical & floral aromas. On the palate peach, melon, herb & earthy tones, well balanced with acidity, smooth yet robust on a long finish ending rich with wet stone character. Good value! A Fav!! Made in a small town at foot of Sierra Cantabria in the DO. A single variety Tempranillo from 50 year old vines has a deep Ruby red color and aged for 18 months in French and American oak. Aromas of red fruit and spice. On the palate ripe black fruit, fine tannins, well balanced with a medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and some oak notes. Nice! — 3 months ago

A blend of 75% Cab Sauv, 18% Sangiovese & 7% Cab Franc, dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, floral spice and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry, cherry and plum with cacao and herbs with slight minty edge. Soft tannins, well balanced with acidity, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy tobacco. Very nice! Drinking well but will improve over next decade. — 8 months ago
