Oh zippy. It is less a hedonist and more and artist. An artist keen on committing to a movement whilst retaining its agency. It has a bit of a funky nose so do the swirl decant dance. Then you’ll have fun earth and every color of pepper and tannins that speak up then stand down yet linger respectfully in the background a like a chaperon who keeps just enough distance. Phenomenal balance of fruit, barrel and acid. Fantastic now with the tension and focus to last another decade. — 4 years ago
Linea mineral with green apple, lemon peel and floral aromas. Finish is long with the bitterness of citrus peels and high acid.
Mouth refreshing one. — 5 years ago
Cranberry on the nose, wet stone, smoke, nice — 6 years ago
Had a busy day yesterday. Our granddaughter was in the hospital for a procedure that went well and I attended an awards ceremony where I received my 25 year anniversary award for working at my agency. Tonight I can sit down and enjoy a glass of wine! Cheers! — 4 years ago
Collaborative rose wine between C.C. & Cosecha Imports; an amazing wine agency specialising in Spanish wines and based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
They call it an "unconventional and funky" wine which I think frames it the wrong way. In fact, it is a serious wine that is miles away from the candy bubblegum rose that is everywhere. It is rich, complex, structured, and refreshing. Killer with fish, summer vegetables and our backyard. — 4 years ago
3.2. Quite a nice Cab, especially after the first sip. Was $9.99, and showed a 99 rating by some agency. — 6 years ago
Bob McDonald
This is from Paarl in South Africa owned by Tim Rudd who lives next door to my sisters family in Gloucestershire UK. Tim kindly asked us to taste this a week ago at his cellar in England beside the 2017 of the same Cuvée. This had notes of bruised Apple a touch of sweetness with peach and well controlled oak treatment. Medium to full bodied. Very easy to drink with a touch of salinity. I preferred this to the 2017 which was a little more oaky. Highly recommended if you can find it in the US - no agency yet in Australia. — 2 years ago
