Cheesy, earth driven, powerfully subtle Cali Sauvignon.

13' Araujo Estate Eisele Vineyard SB. This was the first vintage that spent extra time in the bottle prior to release.

Palate- Classic citrusy notes -lemongrass, picking up some tropical notes of peaches. A plethora of stone fruits. Nice minerality throughout the palate. After it was open for about 30 minutes the crisp acidity softened a bit.

Complexed and very well-made SB. Not a problem enjoying the bottle on it's own. Pairing this wine with food… truly appreciate this SB.
@Joe Lucca Kristen and I can't thank you enough for this sensational bottle of SB! Please say hi to Diane from the both of us. See you in April.

This is always a killer SB and it pairs perfectly with lobster & corn cakes on a rainy Christmas Eve. Tropical fruits, honeysuckle, matchstick and a lingering mineral driven finish. Makes me want to open an Araujo Eisele cab soon. I haven't had an Araujo cab since the '05 vintage and I have the itch. Has anybody tried a wine from the Araujo's new venture Accendo?

A nice wine but nothing special & definitely not worth the steep $95 price tag!

First vintage vinified by Artemis Group. Tropical fruit dominated by lactic acid and oak. Flat on mid-pallet.
