Wow what an amazing buy. Complex nose, classic but complex. Right bank stunner. Cedar, truffle, cassis, olive tapenade , slate, salt, with even an iron complement. Quite structured with amazing tannins still rounding out the fruit. Dark berries, blueberries , ripe blackberries, great tannins to give this wine the structure it needs to keep on aging. Great now, would love to try again in another 5 years. 14.5% — 6 days ago

On the nose, white floral notes, hints of chamomile. Super citrus notes of lime and lemon.lots of mineral and acid. Salty and slightly green apple fizz. Easy drinking and a little drier Vs Kabinett styles. 10.5% — 16 days ago

Super earthy and dusty notes up front. Super soft tannins with some acidity still left in the structure. If you have some don’t wait much longer to drinkers has definitely softened up but the finish lingers for days. Complexity with green olive tapenade, truffle, cassis and fig, it’s offering the advice of a wise sage but still the youthfulness in fruit of a young apprentice. A little salty shade to round out the finish. Great balance throughout 12.5% — a month ago

Dreamy citrus in a glass. Muted nose but the intensity on the palate does not disappoint. Viscous tangerine, bright mango, pineapple and peach. Long lasting acidity. Almost fruit loop finish. Love this on warm summer night. 🍑🍑🍑7.5% — 20 days ago

My people this is a gem of stunning Ruby in the glass. Notes of earth, bramble notes abound, strawberry, rhubarb , dark ripe fig. Intensity in the mouth, sweet strawberry jam. Slightly viscous, great acid and structure racing and lingering in the mouth. Absolutely deeeeeelish. 14% — 15 days ago

Very muted nose, could take a while to open up in the glass or give it 30 mins to decant. Some baking spices hinting on the nose, dusty cinnamon, and faint traces of cassis and oak. The grapes sourced from Calistoga property, so definitely bringing some big heat🔥🔥🔥 at 15%.
Doesn’t taste it however, cherry cola notes with medium acidity and tannin. This could evolve nicely over the years if you give it some time.
