So good for my palate to be back in France.
Tart Granny-Smith green apples, Meyer lemons, lime, underripe pineapple flesh, kiwi, underripe green melon, light caramel notes, some honey, paraffin, limestone with volcanic minerals, sea fossils, saline, tiny chalk bits, toast, hints of mint & dry herbs, Spring white flowers, jasmine, excellent acidity, well balanced, just firm structure/tensioned, elegant & nicely polished finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals.

Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years . — 6 months ago

Good but not great. A bit flat honestly. — 13 days ago
