2016 vintage. Dirk Niepoort's answer to Burgundy and it actually has a Pinot Noir like colour and mouthfeel. This is a very unusual Douro from very old vines. Delicate nose with sour cherries , pomegranate and flowers. It is all about finesse and subtlety. Very long. Delicious and expensive (80 euros), but if you see the prices of Portuguese high end wines these days it almost seems a bargain. — a year ago
Pretty Moulin-à-Vent in typical style of the appellation. Deep ruby color, rich but discreet multiple nose, with notes of raspberry, pepper, herbs (vetiver), undergrowth. Fine mouth. A wine with discreet charm and many subtle nuances that amateurs will appreciate. Great finesse. Can still age 5/10 years.
Très jolie Moulin-à-vent dans style typique de l’appellation. Robe rubis profond, nez multiple riche mais discret, aux notes framboise, poivre, végétal (vétiver), sous-bois. Bouche fine. Un vin au charme discret et de nombreuses nuances subtiles que les amateurs sauront apprécier. Grande finesse. Peut encore vieillir 5/10 ans. — 2 years ago

Lovely, no bricking on the edge so it’s not really showing age. Nose is a bit hot still but very fitting the 09’s. It’s secondary for sure on the palate with fruit not overpowering but balanced in with the leather and cedar. Very good for the price point, it is in a good place now. — 10 months ago
Under the spell of this Loire wine. The bottle was finished without difficulty. Deep purple colour. Rashed nose of frank cabernet: raspberry, black cherries, purple, slate mineral touch. We feel the solar character of recent wines (climate change) giving concentration and intensity, where only a few years ago the acid green pepper style could sometimes hinder. A racy and gourmet Cabernet Franc de Loire to drink on youth. Perfect with asparagus pasta or goat cheese from the region of production.
Sous le charme de ce vin de Loire. La bouteille a été finie sans difficulté. Robe pourpre profonde. Nez racé du cabernet franc : framboise, cerises noires ,violette, touche minérale ardoise. On sent le caractère solaires des vins récents (changement climatique) donnant de concentration et intensité, là où il y a quelques années encore les style poivron vert acide pouvait parfois gêner. Un Cabernet Franc de Loire racé et gourmand à boire sur la jeunesse. Parfait avec une pasta aux asperges ou encore un fromage de chèvre de la région de production. — 2 years ago

Established in the village of Marsannay in the 1960's by Bernard Coillot, father of owner Christophe Coillot. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of fig, mushroom and spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 4 days ago
