I wish they could all taste like this. Nectarines, peaches and Rainer cherries but with this beautiful touch of Manuka honey and almonds that give a richness that i haven’t tasted in a CA Chardonnay in many years. Give it a slight chill but don’t drink cold from the fridge. You’ll see… — 2 months ago

For my tastes, this is classic Sauternes. Not stored in optimal conditions but purchased on release and kept in the coolest place i could find. On the nose there was honey, caramelized pineapple and apricots. Could definitely smell the botrytis “funk” for the first hour of being open. Palate was rich, honeyed and mouth coating. Definitely has some acidity to cut through the stilton and other soft cheeses served and the best part was 1.5 hrs in when the honeyed peach/nectarine and apricots really came out. Spectacular. — a month ago

Pleasant surprise for this one. It was at the back of the cellar and wasn’t expecting much. It is just as good as high end Rosso di Montalcino that Ive had in the past. Well made and has all the classic aged Sangiovese notes with some red fruit still at the front! — 6 days ago
