Second label (Domaine de Chevalier) Graves Red Blend. (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petite Verdot). Deep purple color. Dark berry aromas and flavors. Hints of cedar, licorice, minerals and baking spices. Round and silky. Long finish. Well structured. Great value. — 4 years ago
Beautiful bouquet, beautiful wine. — 9 months ago
We had this with a veggie wellington for Xmas day. It was silky smooth, and absolutely bloody delicious. £20 a bottle, for Xmas only! — 3 years ago
Thanksgiving wine- Catalanes red, 65% Carignan & 35% Syrah done up nice & dense almost like a baby CDF but less raspberry & more dark berry. Drank a 100% Carignan right after so interesting to compare. Very good & fresh style, but still more brooding & extracted given the Syrah I imagine. Throws off sediment so worth a decant. Amazing concentration and intensity. Better on day two. Oak is noticeable and could use some more time in bottle. — a year ago
