I found this bottle delicious. Did not know the varietal and terroir very well, and of course I picked a natural wine to get started. I found it beautiful, frank, feminine, vibrant and sensual, surprisingly fruity with red fruits nose and floral aromas. After three years in the cellar, the tannins are firm but quite integrated, the fruit ripeness and the acidity are perfectly balanced. I'll go for a deep dive with this producer ! — a month ago
Lovely Malvasia, mineral, classy and with a good character that enhances the pleasure of the drinkability ! Enjoyed with a panettone — 2 months ago
Flavio's dolcetto is glorious. The terroir shows in the glass with the strength of nature, deep colour and intense aromas. The wine is powerful, lively, clean and well balanced. The first sips are dry and masculine with animal and vinous scents ; then the juice gets softer, putting forward the red fruits, a bouquet with strawberries and fresh cream, tobacco and toffee. Great persistence and length even at day 2 and 3 !
Outrageous pleasure for the price ...
I've definitely gone under the spell !! — 2 months ago
Intriguing Montepulciano. The nose is very strong and with good complexity. Earthy and animal at first, then fruity with a delicious marasca and red cherry. Tannic and medium bodied, but with good structure and acidity, I guess it could evolve even more beautifully should you give it some more years. I'm getting fond of Abruzzi wines ! — a month ago
Very interesting and unusual pinot. A rustic personality and a good acidity leave room after a while to more aromas and elegance. I must say, the terroir of Lunigiana is full of surprises and it always leaves a strong mark on a wine's character, no matters the varietal. — a month ago
Delicate and light, with excellent drinkability. It's an interesting interpretation of the varietals Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina from northern Piedmont. I liked the floral aromatics and the smooth tannins for a young wine. Paired with pork ribs. — 2 months ago
This is a good entry level for this very interesting winery in Monferrato. The vines are grown organically and the wine is made with indigenous yeasts and natural fermentation.
In the glass, the wine shows a lovely deep dark ruby robe, typical seducing aromas from the terroir and a nice balance between strength and drinkability. A good pick for a good meal with friends and family. — 4 months ago
Beautiful dôle. Natural, earthy, elegant and complex. Pinot aromatics and Gamay sweet spices, good acidiy, well it's pure pleasure. Marie-Thérèse grows her fabulous vines up on the hills of Fully in Valais, she is one of the most iconic swiss "vigneronnes". In spite of the difficulty of working such a land, she follows the biodynamic philosophy and does an impressive work to produce world-class wines in a respectul way. This Dôle is very young and could be considered an "entry-level" red and yet it shows already all of its personality ! Paired well with a roast-beef from "race d'Hérens" beef, roast potatoes and coleslaw. — a month ago
Fresh and youthful, the sensation is that to grasp a handful of freshly picked raspberries in the forest. Very clean, focused, with a good nerve. — 2 months ago
First time I approach this varietal. I've been pleasantly impressed by the elegance and complexity of the bouquet. It opened up with a beautiful depth at day 3-4, so I guess decanting could be a good practice... — 4 months ago
