Aromas of cherry, dark fruit, blackberry balanced with the vanilla bordeaux smokey sweetness of oaky French oak aging. Beyond the Aromas, the taste is what separates this - incredible plum, tobacco fruity finish which has a thick smooth texture. — 9 days ago
Mostly Zinfandel with less than 20% of other red varieties blended in. Dark ruby color. Intense aromatics of black currant/berry, black raspberry and plums. Same ripe fruits on the palate with additional flavors of black olive, basil, black pepper and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Lively tannins and zesty acidity. Bold and powerful but not over the top. Good choice, Keith S! — 20 days ago
Traditional Bordeaux style blend. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of blackberry jam, violets and toasted bread. Palate is full of jammy black currant/berry flavors with additional notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, blueberry, graphite and baking spices. Full bodied and juicy. Not overly complex but very well made. A bit more bottle age is necessary for the wine to calm down a bit. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 20 days ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 10 days ago

Medium ruby garnet , medium terracotta rim . Quite ripe plum , dried blackberry , dried spice , earth , tobacco . On the palate lovely cassis , dried plum, earthy blackberry and tobacco nuance , liquorice touches . Good definition and balancing acidity, fine , slightly gritty but ripe tannins , good length . Fully mature this is still showing well , drink now and over the next 3-5 years . — 6 days ago
