Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a touch of RS.

Showing apples, light citrus, lemons, yeast, brioche, spices, minerals, herbs, sea salt and light earth.

Long finish with limes and light marzipan.

What a great surprise! This is a delicious sparkling wine from Russian River Valley.

Elegant, rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Showing nice complexity already, and would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.

A great sipping wine and better when not too cold.

A blend of 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay. Aged for 3 years on the lees.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

42 years and retains dark ruby color with little coaxing required. No decant but opened bottle for about an hour. Cassis in broad shoulders yet elegant wine. Absolute delight. Long life remaining. Wow! — 22 days ago

If I could use just one word? Intense! Still tight but the layers of dark fruit are starting to shine through the angular, lead pencil soaked tannins.
