Kinda forgot how white Bordeaux is a bit of a sleeper when it comes to summer whites. A bit sleeker & more crystalline than my top dog White Bordeaux, but still fresh white flowers, some marzipan, & distant cut grass. Heavier on Semillion blend, which is my preference. — 4 years ago
A softer SB than I usually go for, but it was so fragrant and delicious. Strawberry, peach, pineapple, crushed grass and apple. — 6 years ago
Smells like lawn! Crisp grass. Melon, hint of sweet, delicious!! — 7 years ago
Weekly Wednesday Wine Committee and this was a special treat as not only was Weston from Montagu Wines in attendance, but Jason Moore, owner and winemaker for Modus Operandi Wines out of Napa. Blind format as always. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert.
Every part of me, and most everyone else in the room, called this New Zealand SB. Never had a SB with so much grass and jalapeño pepper on the nose. More grapefruit rind came in to play later and it had a typical SB finish with acidic/stone driven notes, but what a nose! — 8 years ago
Blast of freshly mown grass… lime zest, wet stone, and lively acidity. Perfect quaff for quick tropical beach getaway.., shaking my head at all the high end cab being consumed on a warm evening in Anguilla on the beach. This wine reminds me how versatile Loire whites are. Perfect balance if not served too cold. — 3 years ago
This bottle is wonderful. Grapefruit everywhere, wet grass, salty seashore/shells, opens with more tropical flavors coming forward with the grapefruit. A perfect warm day wine. — 4 years ago
Lemon grass, lemon zest, and lime on the nose. Lemon, lime, quince, and asian pear on the palate. Medium alcohol and high acid with a long citrus finish. — 5 years ago
Apples, bell pepper, grass, citrus. Nice textbook SB! — 7 years ago

Another solid vintage of this NZ Sauvy B. Bright golden color with green highlights. Aromas of citrus, fresh herbs/grass and tropical fruit. Flavors of grapefruit, lime, passion fruit with a mix mineral/wet stone based backbone. Distinct saline note on the long and crisp and clean finish. Bright acidity and medium body and alcohol (13.5%). Solid freshness and precision. Enjoyed with Asian food at Youyu in the Hard Rock in Atlantic City. — 5 months ago
Excellent!!! Floral, grass, and flint. Went great with our Sushi. — 4 years ago
A few months since our last bottle, notes are still consistent:
95% Sauvignon Blanc & 5% Semillon; Entre-Deux-Mers AOC
Nose of freshly washed sweet, green grapes, lemon grass and green melon.
Palate is crisp, citrus biased, lightly tart not sweet, lime squeezed on granite, medium finish.
$13, QPR is just a crazy value play! — 7 years ago

I find this to be an easy drinker and a good value. Fruit salad- plenty of peach, pineapple, apricots, lemon, and some grass. A hint of tar in the nose.
