Pale lemon (translucent) hue. Pronounced aromas of bell pepper, gooseberry, grapefruit, with a hint of grass. Medium-minus body with high acid. Citrus and minerals on the palate. Long finish. Exemplar of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. — 5 months ago
Classic NZ label. Smells funky. Lawn just cut or a piece of fresh grass in the teeth. And lemon citrus peels. Flavors are complex and very audacious. Bombastic even. Plenty of citrus, but something else as well. Shells? Like the calcium carbonate in those. Also big gooseberries. This is a good example of how NZ Sauv Blanc differs from the other styles out there. This wine packs a punch. — 8 months ago
Pale lemon with pronounced aromas of grapefruit, guava, and passionfruit. Herbal notes of green bell pepper, grass, and jalapeño, with hints of white pepper and lychee. Lime and melon are noticeable on the palate.
Dry with a medium body and high acidity, it is well-balanced with a long and zesty finish. A youthful and vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Concentrated stone fruit, grapefruit, guava, with tinges of passion fruit backed by grass and herb notes. Crisp, classic sauvignon blanc texture, though less racy than its European counterparts, but showcases the potential of aromatic New World whites. Very nicely balanced finish. — 6 months ago
Pale yellow hue. Aromas of grass, grapefruit, guava, melon, passionfruit, pineapple. Light body and high acidity. Satisfying and exemplary New Zealand SB.

Blast of freshly mown grass… lime zest, wet stone, and lively acidity. Perfect quaff for quick tropical beach getaway.., shaking my head at all the high end cab being consumed on a warm evening in Anguilla on the beach. This wine reminds me how versatile Loire whites are. Perfect balance if not served too cold. — 2 years ago
There’s nothing like the excitement of head to head competition. Unfortunately, that excitement ends quickly when one of the participants has to withdraw. The 2013 was extremely advanced with a heavy petrol nose. The 2014 on the other hand was a great example of what this wine should be. A clean nose of grapefruit and grass but not in that overbearing way that can be the case with SB. Once in the mouth SB steps aside and the Semillon becomes the “boss”. Apricot and pears pop up and the initial dose of mouth watering acidity gives way to a wonderful roundness that allows for a long finish. — 2 months ago
Classic. Crisp citrus, hint of cut grass, slight salinity, wet rock, great acidity. — 8 months ago
This white wine has prominent notes of apple and pear on the nose, with hints of green apple and lemon grass to the taste. This white wine is not very acidic, and I enjoy that it is not too dry. — 10 months ago

Passion fruit and fresh cut grass aromas.
Medium body, crisp.
Passion fruit, grapefruit, and grassy flavors with light minerality. Bright acidity without being too tart. Excellent wine.
Partly aged in oak barrels, but not okay.
