First time with this bottling and I have deep regrets about buying only four bottles. The acidity is extreme. It swallows the residual sugar, leaving just a hint of sweetness, though the sugar makes the fruit burst on the palate and gives the wine density. Shockingly concentrated and intense with salty, mineral depth and a very long finish. This is closer to a generous Grosses Gewachs than my conception of a Kabinett. Thrilling wine! @Lyle Fass is this typical or an anomaly of the vintage? More importantly, do you have anything like this to sell me? — 3 months ago
Last had this July 2023 and it was noticeably improved: soaring aromas of beautiful delineated peach & apricot, powdered sugar, lemon meringue and lime cream. Just epic nose, smooth & silky on palate, still vibrant acidic backbone and sumptuous orchard fruit, orange blossom & all soaked in honey. Wowza - our guests were astonished… — 6 days ago
A perfect one to get into the holiday spirit.
Balances beautifully on the tongue, combining honeyed apricot, lemon & lime and a herby touch with incredible lightness & freshness. This is almost weightless and yet with great intensity of flavors, underlined by slate minerality. Poised, with unreal tension and great depth. And goes on forever.
Only a Kabi can do that - and this one is just fantastic! — 2 months ago
Classic mosel kabinett
Nose: airy. Mineral. Green apple.
Palate: perfect kabinett fruit. Green apple. So crisp. Like the first bite of an apple.

An excellent Riesling, I personally did not find it overwhelmingly acidic. Very nice — 21 days ago
