I can’t put my finger on why I don’t love this wine. It has a nice grippy finish and is not too fruity. Maybe it’s the cough syrupy finish to it that doesn’t feel so great. — 3 months ago
My last bottle from the defunct yet memorable winery.
Smells so delicious, like a fruit yogurt
This drinks like it is fresh, with blackberry bramble, subtle and unique red fruits tucked behind the leather ones.
Tannins are still very gripping, and the acidity tames it back. A touch of heat and its off to the races! — 2 years ago
Dark red/purplish color.
Earthy, dusty cedary nose, dried red fruit, hint of herbs.
Medium/ full body. Good bit of tannins.
Dry, but not too dry. Long earthy fruity (blackberry, dark cherry, blueberry) finish.
Absolute knockout at $13 — 2 months ago
Warm and friendly and full of life. Balanced BlackBerry, and lasting mouth, like a hug from your papa — 3 years ago
Fruity start, a little green pepper on finish — 4 years ago

Bacon fat, smoky, very northern Rhône-like aromas and flavors, with a very cool climate “vibe” (12.4% ABV), great acid and freshness, I am very much a huge fan, long, lingering finish!! — a month ago
