My first Saint-Bris! Pale lemon yellow color. Plush aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers, chalk and abundant fresh herbs. Flavors of unripe peach, all those savory herbs, green apple and lemon zest. Noticeable mineral backbone on the long and drawn out finish. Lively and crisp acidity. Medium-minus body and wonderful freshness. Vibrant and harmonious! There are Chablis comparisons here. Tasted blind. Medium gold, heavy. Great leesy lemon nose. Some honey and white stone too. Very tight, with Chablis-like intensity/acidity. Seems young. I go with 02 Raveneau MdT as a guess. Surprised to see an 89 in such great condition. I had/loved the 86 of this. Would love to find me some of this 89... — 6 years ago
