I love a good wheat beer and this hits the spot on this gorgeous Florida day! Took the day off and I’m going to enjoy it! @Eddie Dukes does the glass look familiar! 🍻 cheers! — 4 years ago

At Castle Rock Estate Cellar Door having a private tasting with Owner and Winemaker Rob Diletti. This 2019 Riesling had the classic Lime juice Talc and Slate aromas of top quality Porongurup Riesling. Rob also makes the wine for neighbouring Dukes who just received 98 points for their 2019 Riesling from James Halliday. Rob is a lovely bloke and obviously a talented winemaker. Called upon as a Show Judge around Australia. — 7 years ago
Fragile ice crackles beneath yellow velvet thigh-highs in a field of sourdough; in the distance, Dax Shepard does dirt bike tricks in Daisy Dukes. — 7 years ago
Viscous and legs-producing liquid with purple-red color; a delicious stonybrook chlorine minerality comes first on the nose followed by dark small mulberries and blackberries, dusty notes, and a clear oak profile with spices and vanillin; mouthfilling high acid and tannins integrate fairly well with the fruit and spices and end with a chest-burning satisfying medium-length finish (14% alcohol). Good price-to-quality ratio. Had with Beaufort and Kaltbach cheeses accompanied by Louie and the Dukes of Dixieland on vinyl. — 8 years ago
Eola-Amity Hills Dukes Family Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022. Bought 3/25 $52. Waited too long to describe, but know it's good — 8 months ago
The Clos du Roy has been around ever since the dukes of Burgundy, residing in nearby Dijon, documented, and drank in its virtues.
Ruby red color with aromas of ripe fruits with floral perfume and earthy tones, aged for 14 months in 30% new oak. On the palate flavors of berry and plum fruits, with pepper spice notes. Soft fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral and earthy spice character. — 2 years ago
What a perfect wine for Hawaii. Crisp, dry, refreshing, with sea salt, minerals, lemon, a touch of petrol, and some tropical fruit. Value imo at dukes. — 4 years ago
@Darby Mae wow from dukes. Will share. Note to self- stock up for rest of summer. — 5 years ago
Water white in colour. Aromas of Lime Juice, Citrus Peel, Talc and Minerals. On the palate a riot of Lime Juice and Citric Acid of profound intensity finishing bone dry. I can see why James Halliday gave this Riesling 98 points and his Australian Riesling of 2019 because of its sheer purity, power and intensity and its ability to live for 20 years and to keep developing. Sold Out everywhere except for 4 x 6 packs at the Cellar Door of which I bought a 6 pack. Classic Porongorup Riesling. Made for Dukes by Rob Diletti of Castle Rock Estate who I had the pleasure of meeting 2 days ago at his winery for a tasting. — 7 years ago
Great Chard! — 7 years ago
Louis Armstrong and the Dukes of Dixieland are swingin’ it like there’s no tomorrow. And 3 years in the cellar made this grand cru riesling from Biecher perform amazingly. Thick clear golden wine; deep minerals and apples, perfumes, mouthwatering acids and a long violet-grapefruity finish. — 8 years ago

2022 Vintage. What @Eddie Dukes said! Went great with spicy Thai food. — 3 years ago
Stewed red fruits on the nose with a gamey note. A well made Porongorup Pinot Noir from Rob Diletti who is better known for his excellent Rieslings and contract winemaking to Dukes. Rob has packed a lot into this medium bodied Pinot with Cherry and Strawberry notes along with Sous Bois and that gamey character mentioned earlier. 2 bottles left - taste the next one in a year. — 4 years ago
Lovely cherry and cherry blossom nose. Cherry, cinnamon, minerals, and fresh strawberry on the palate. Medium tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid that lingers long into the finish. Beautiful structure and balance. A beautiful wine start to finish in the Burgundy style. — 5 years ago
Sparkling Shiraz is a tradition in Australia on Christmas Day. Bought this at Dukes Cellar Door 2 days ago. Very different to Barossa Sparkling like Rockford Black which, while good is much sweeter. This was savoury earthy and minerally - quite dark in colour. A great accompaniment to Turkey and Ham. — 7 years ago

Found this little gem of a label on my way home from a day of wine-tasting. I loved the wines so much, I became a club member. — 8 years ago

Magpie Hill is the Reserve range from Dukes which is in the Porongurups, a sub district in the Great South of West Australia. The stony poor granitic soils giving concentrated wines. This producer possibly better known for its outstanding Rieslings has kicked a goal with this beautiful Shiraz. This has a very deep Ruby colour with a purple tinge. Smoky oak and mocha with ripe fruit - 14.5% ABV. Concentrated. Full bodied but not heavy- soft fine tannins. Made by the talented Rob Diletti who is their neighbour from his winery Castle Rock. Great value. — 7 months ago
