The vineyard borders Puligny 1er Garenne. Pale lemon with stone and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple with orange citrus and sweet mineral notes. This medium-body wine was smooth with a wet stone character and overall good balance. The wine finishes with pronounced mineral notes and slight smoky notes on a medium+ ending. — 2 days ago
Lithe and delicate. Subtle fruit aromas/flavors of lemon, pear, underripe white peach. Perhaps some quiet jasmine notes as well. Winemaking technique certainly dominates with notes of sulphur compounds in addition to perceived SO2 on the nose and palate (knocking it down a peg in my opinion). Struck flint, crushed stones and gun smoke under deft barrel notes. Very refreshing however, quite lovely with more and more aeration. — 15 days ago
This 2018 shows again the great value these wines have from Alain Gras. Such a nice bottle of fruity, balanced and delicious Pinot that ends with a slightly tangy and sappy delicious finish. 90
Un beau 2018 qui démontre encore la qualité des vins de Alain Gras pour le prix. Un vin équilibré avec une finale salivante sur les petits fruits rouges légèrement acidulés. Très bien. — 13 days ago
Thanksgiving 2020; a quiet day with just my wife and the kitties, hopefully 2021 brings family and dear friends back for group enjoyment of this Holiday.
Nose has under-ripe pineapple, ripe pineapple, warm lemon slice, wet flint, light oak/vanilla and lemongrass.
Palate has cooked lemon slice, crushed flint, wet sandstone and pineapple core with a medium finish.
An infant for sure (current release), but made for a solid pairing to a Thanksgiving meal, it worked great with all the flavor diversity on our plates. Oh man, 2018 Burgundy is going to be wonderful. — 9 days ago
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating the holiday! Enjoying some lovely wine with an unconventional meal of filet mignon to go with an unconventional year to say the least.

This is a nice surprise. A nice Pinot Noir from Burgundy.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, raspberries, light oak, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, vegetables, herbs, graphite, earth, leather and light barnyard.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Nice length on the finish with spices and raspberries and fine grained tannins.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and show the tannins and structure.
Thank you Wendy for sharing this with us.

This 6 year old is still young, and would be better in 5 years.
Better with food than just by itself, right now. Tangy and a little hot at the back of the throat. Spicy with a nice mouthfeel.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Great bottle well worth the asking price that is not cheap for a St-Aubin. White orchard fruit, minerlitity and a touch of roundness, fresh and classy, elegant and so well balanced. The bottle emptied itself in a flash. Great stuff.
Quel délice. Fruits blancs, fraîcheur, minéralité, une touche de richesse, quelle classe et élégance aussi, très équilibré et savoureux, la bouteille s’est vidée en le temps de le dire. 91-92 — 6 days ago
