Hope this is not my last bottle. Showed more like a Rayas than a typical CDP. Dark plum and cherry fruit, pork fat, forrest dirt. — 9 days ago

Rich and luscious. Big oak, but pure. Literally a 60 second finish. — a day ago

Spécial Club Brut Grand Cru Champagne Pinot Noir Rosé 2013

Nose is like raspberries on lsd. Pallate is raspberry soda. If god made raspberry soda. Super clean. Mineral. Yummy. Nice fresh finish. ... some super intense perfect lemon shoots in after a bit. This could be epic in 5 years. — 4 days ago

Paul Lato

"Lancelot" Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011

Every time I open one of Paul Lato’s wines, I ask myself the same question: Why don’t I buy every bottle I get offered? This is amazing. I don’t know if this is sourced from the same vines that Gary, Mark, and Jeff use for their (incredible) Pisoni Estate pinot, but Paul’s expression of the fruit hits some of the same notes - but also some different ones - from what the Pisoni clan produces. Amazing notes of dried cherries, spice box, and a hint of earth, all folded into a seamless wine that just opens up on the palate with layers of evolving flavors, ending in a finish that lingers for nearly a minute. Awesome stuff. — 5 days ago

CrossBarn Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2016

A good example of what Sonoma Coast PN should be. Restrained and not a big cherry cola bomb like so many PNs from this region tend to be. Still, a fuller body than the PN made to the north. A nice balance and a very nice price. — a day ago
