Opened this a few years too early. Dark and brooding. Olives, violet, blackberry. Wild and savory. Would love to try this again in a few years! — 18 days ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, black cherries, and wood smoke; on the palate, dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of black currants, red bell peppers, black pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little high in alcohol. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. It may need a little more time to open up. — 9 days ago

Very well balanced natural chillable red. Higher alcohol, not very bitter but not overly sweet — a month ago

What better companion to hachis permentier than a trusted chateneuf du pape. Still too young, it can use a couple of years of cellar time.
Edit: went from young to very drinkable in approx 45 minutes. Seamless C9DP. — 12 days ago
