Vintage 2010 | gave it two hours in decanter, a barnyard stinky in smell (not everyone appreciates this, I do), cedar very present, hints of spices and a good concentration. When accompanied with food it is ready to drink now. Fine right bank wine, neighbour of Cheval Blanc (I take a special interest in neighbours of the priceless top domaines). — a month ago

This is a really nice Pouilly-Fuisse, an AOC I generally think is overvalued. Bright nose has limestone minerality, bright apple and pear fruit, wet straw, and the barest hint of barrel spice. Lower-toned on the palate than the nose suggests, it’s relaxed and deeply-flavored, lots of fruit and crushed rock minerality. Medium acids. Nice balance and depth. — 2 months ago

Decanted separately two bottles for Christmas lunch
Took time to open and second showed benefit of longer time to open with notes of wood with earth, cassis, black cherry and a hint of earthy floor. Showed excellent performance and flavours that also possessed benefit of cellaring and results in tremendous length and finish.
