Nose is very grapey and has tremendous spice. Unreal gorgeous cherry fruit and a bit of confectionary aromas. Background of intense minerality and florals. Very expansive nose. Juicy and vibrant palate with great freshness and mid to late season cherry fruit and very mineral inflected tannins. Limestone wash on the finish. Tremendous effort. Great freshness and energy and a bit of rusticity. 9.2 to 9.4 overnight. Gained so much more depth and finesse and was scary silky. This is an outrageous value. The rusticity cleaned up overnight and it was all class on day 2. — 6 months ago
Still a little closed, needs some time or significant air but tremendous purity and whole cluster structure, red fruit driven with rose petals, wet earth and leaves, a touch of smoke and stony limestone character aplenty — 6 months ago
Noticeably darker fruited and more deeply pitched than the Plantes Aux Bois. Tart red berries, black plums and soil tones, delicious right now. — 6 months ago
