Loving life in Tokyo! Mostly Burgundy/Bordeaux these days...
Second time having this re-release; I’ve come much farther in appreciating this wine. It’s not meant to be part of a lineup - instead to be appreciated for a single meal with great company. Subtly deep secondary notes of leather/sousbois, with a great complement of cherry and balanced tannins. It was balanced enough to make a great paring with Korean yakiniku (and now I’ve got a new fav resto in Fukuoka). — 2 months ago
Will not give a rating since I was forced to revisit it 5 days after opening; to my surprise and delight it was still quite refreshing and fruity. It had lost most of its aromas, but had a really well balanced acidity and grip. Definitely one that requires age - will want to try again. — a month ago
After a long work week - sometimes the best medicine is your favorite takeout Thai and your favorite winemaker’s AOC. Gorgeous acidity - vanilla cream and young pear through out, just enough depth to fully relax and enjoy a week-end. — 2 months ago
Certainly impeccably made, just not enough character or excesses for me to greatly enjoy. — 2 months ago
Haven’t popped a HuberVerdereau in some time; forgot how great they are. Great silkiness and elegance, the fruit restrained but powerful . And great QPR - around 20eur! — 4 months ago
