2021/3. See also the note in the Fourchaume - I recall this being the slightly softer of the two. — 5 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2005 pours a deep garnet/purple with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and dried fruits: blackberry, black cherry, plum, pipe tobacco, purple flowers, cocoa, leather, organic earth and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin (integrated) and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. If you ever had an itch for some Right Bank Bordeaux, this will scratch that itch. Drink now through 2035. — 11 days ago
Lightly sweet with honey, slate, and yellow apple. Very unusual and fun! — 2 years ago
Rich and delicious. — 4 years ago
Wet stone, asphalt, oyster shell, supported by pineapple, apple, and lime tart. Substantial and lively. — 4 years ago
2021/3. Another new (to me) Chablis producer. I don’t have precise notes but remember liking this. The overall style seems clean and un-messed with, and I think it was a bit more structured than the Beauroy. — 5 years ago
Aftern an oversulfured weinland amphora Riesling/they must have used some eggs to preserve the wine. This was savior but at a steep cost to the overall bill in Denmark. Sharo clean precise. Like a dagger 2022. Well executed. Lemon, hint key lime, limestone, unfortunately the wineglass was not heated properly and had this wet dog smell. It separates the michelins from the rest @

Enjoyed it! Quoting from my local shop which I think is right: “this rascal of a wine fully showcases the burly/rustic elements of Duras (100%), with a dark, textured fruit, which is packed with deep, savory/herbaceous nuance, and an intensely mineral core. Despite the power, the overall feel is rather nimble, thanks to smaller-scale, elegantly integrated tannin.” — 3 months ago
Smoke, leather, vanilla, ripe plum maybe. Tannic. Very good. — 3 years ago
Wow. Great white wine full of bold fruit and wood with a buttery taste that melts in your mouth. Definitely would get this again. — 4 years ago
Apple nose, melon and hint of tropical fruits, fresh. — 4 years ago
Nose has cool chamomile tea, beeswax, lemon peel, Bartlett pear and white flowers.
Palate has lemon curd, lemon zest, warm pear slice, creamy oak notes but not over done, great acidity and moist chalk on the lengthy finish.
A very nice wine, notes from +3H open, more restrained aromas than the Blanchot. — 5 years ago

2019 vintage.Owned by the Adams family (with one d), who also has vineyards in Howell Mountain (ADAMVS) and Saint-Emilion (Fonplegade). Red and black fruit, dark chocolate, and flowers. In the mouth, there is a lovely freshness, and silky tannins with some salinity in the finish. A lovely, elegant Pomerol that doesn't break the bank at less than 40 euro. Drinking well now, but I can see this even improved with more bottle age. Abv. 14,5%. — 7 hours ago
