Impérial Brut Réserve Champagne Blend

This is a delightful and classic champagne. It has a lot of the yeasty character to complement it’s fruit and a lovely, fine mousse. But personally, what always moves me about this wine is remembering that it was the one my late brother always used to drink with his partner. Every time I have it, it lets me feel like I am celebrating with him again. — 14 days ago

Les Bressandes Corton Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2005

Beautifully fresh and subtlety powerful still. Umami soy note on finish reminds you of the pedigree here. — 2 months ago

Impérial Brut Champagne Blend

Dry, green apple, orange zest citrus, and light floral notes. Great after new years but I personally like Veuve more so — 13 days ago

A dichotomy of finesse and specificity. Terroir between CdNuits and CdBeaune. A house favorite. 🤩 — 2 months ago

Nectar Impérial Demi-Sec Champagne Blend

Not typically a huge fan of the sweeter stuff, normally a brut drinker, but this is good when paired with salty desserts. Pale yellow, with some floral aromatics dancing out. Great bubbles. Medium bodied. Honeyed pears, apricots, green apples proliferating through each sip. Not much to disagree with. — 20 days ago

Nectar Impérial Rosé Champagne Blend

I purchased the bottle specifically for paring with spicy hot pot as I rarely drink sweet Champaign and wanted to give it a try.
Beautiful nose of blackcurrant, raspberry, ripe strawberry, orange peel, chalk, and hint of warm spices. Fine persistent mellow mouse. Acidity can barely keep up with the 45g dosage. There is pomelo-like bitterness to keep the sweetness in check as well.
Too sweet for me to drink on its own, but it was a fantastic pairing.
