What a treat: has a mean streak, meant in the nicest possible way- a dark, dark core, like Ribena (for Brits) but edgier, & gorgeous layers of red fruits built around that petrolly, black currant core. At first I thought Ribero when drinking blind! Much more nuanced & subtle.

Clean and fresh red fruit aromas. No noticeable Brettanomyces on the nose. Tart cranberries and dark cherries on the palate. Very pretty and elegant.

Classic red burgundy. Good but i was not "wow'ed". One of eight bottles purchased from Astor's 20% off flash sale. So far had 3 bottles. All of them were just average despite the good ratings from delectable.

16.5+. 2006. Has aged pretty well. Nose of mature Burgundy, fruit fine. M length - this never was very long.

IMO though well made no nuances flabby dull sort of flat finish not very interesting
