Just when you think you have tasted "every" iteration of aged Gewürztraminer, along comes along comes a "ringer" out of nowhere! Dry and viscous, this wine is pleasantly waxy with a nice balance of stone fruits, particularly dried apricots. I drank it without food, which was fine, but I suspect it would be substantially more delicious with appropriate cuisine. — 7 years ago

Stones and powder on the nose with plush red fruits and tart plums on the palate. Generous grape tannins coat the tongue providing a nice tactile finish. This is delicious Cru Beaujolais! — 7 years ago
Elegant, graceful, and delicious beyond my already-high expectations. — 7 years ago
What a find! One lonely 2010 bottle at Von's in San Diego on "super sale". Perfectly balanced and velvety. My only lament is that it is gone. — 8 years ago
Oh Chateau Musar how I love thee! This bottle has been open for two days and it still is bursting with all the flavors you remember and a few more! 1999 was the year that Lance Armstrong won his first Tour de France and SpongeBob made his debut. Predictably SpongeBob and this wine are still going strong! — 7 years ago
Lilacs, violets, and all things purple. Fresh and light, this wine delivers all that is lovely with Frappato. — 7 years ago
This exquisite gem represents an impressive collaboration between nature and vigneron. The yeasty and pomaceous aromatics will seduce you. But its defiance is what makes you fall in love. Strikingly competitive flavors and textures somehow harmonize and unify to create a focused yet expansive experience that I can only describe as sublime. And like nascent love, it keeps you intrigued and wanting more. — 8 years ago

Violets on the nose, bursting with dark plums, dark cherries, and fine tannins on the palate. Generous acidity should make this wine very food friendly! — 5 years ago
