No notes. Opened by our dear friend who is hosting us for the night in the suburbs of Paris. Great pour. Superb nose of hay, oak, earth and cherry. Nice acid drive, some dusty tannins, raspberry and sour cherry. Give it some time to breathe after opening. — 4 days ago

Thanks for the comment! I intend on opening the exact same one in the same vintage in a week time. Hervé Bizeul is very active on a wine forum in France called "la passion du vin" and argues that le Clos des fées should be put in a decanter for up to 24 hours before being tasted to make sure to experience it in the best possible conditions. It certainly sounds a bit exaggerated and I only meant to share his views on the topic.

I could certainly see that. This definitely gained weight the longer it was opened. The last glass was the best with 3 hrs in the bottle.
