1985 Cru Borgeois from Bel Air Lagrave. Tobacco leaf, cigar smoke, really subtle leather. Very pretty. — a month ago
Wow this is good. Intense nose shows tons of limestony minerals and ripe gooseberry, citrus-zest ingredients fruit. Large-framed in the mouth for a Sancerre, but everything is in perfect balance: minerals, fruit, acid, glycerol. Nice length. — 2 months ago
After a year of focusing on Cab Sauvignon this one was the best. And oldest. — 20 days ago
3.1. Margaux blend, heavy on the tannins without that bright cheery fruit we were expecting. On sale for 13.99, regularly $19.98. — 2 months ago

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (61%) and Merlot (39%). Murky ruby color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruits, violets and forest floor. Blackberry, Black Currant, Black Plum fruit on the palate with hints of mushroom, nutmeg and tobacco. Slight hint of vanilla on the long finish. Mouth watering acidity, medium-plus body and very dry. Tannins have softened and the texture is velvety. Much better with food. — a month ago
Wow, I loved this wine. It evolved from nose, to approach, to mid-palette to a lovely long finish. There was a vibrant tension between the fruit and the acidity and the limestone underneath it all. And, basically, yum. — 3 months ago
